Life, critical illness cover and income protection insurance.
I am writing as we are struggling to get my partner life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection insurance. She never had cover, is 44 and has psoriatic arthritis. We have gotten a broker now to try to help us find cover and we are struggling. We were wondering if there are insurers the PSA community tend to use or to try that are more accommodating? We are not able to recommend particular insurers or brokers, as decisions and terms will depend on an individual’s medical history and circumstances. It is encouraging that you are working with a broker, and if you have not already done so, it may be worth checking that they have experience of arranging protection insurance for people with long-term health conditions.
