World Psoriasis Day is an annual opportunity to raise awareness of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, highlight the experiences of those affected, and advocate for better understanding and care.
Psoriatic disease can affect more than the skin and joints. It can also be associated with other health conditions, including:
Heart disease
Diabetes
Mental health challenges
The day highlights the importance of early diagnosis, integrated care and support for both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Led by the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), World Psoriasis Day brings people together to raise awareness of the wider impact of psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those living with it.
PAPAA is the UK representative at IFPA.
We work with the organisation to raise awareness and promote the global activities.
