Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitors

Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitors are intracellur enzymes (enzymes that function within the cell) and are administered orally.  They target a specific part of the immune system by transmitting signals from small proteins to create new blood cells which help to reduce the overall active response, which is associated with psoriatic disease.  They also help reduce swelling and tenderness that is common in psoriatic joints.
