Be part of the solution and make a difference
My son Jack is 12, his psoriasis appeared at 10 with red scaly patches on his arms and legs. At school, bullies called him names and left him out of games, he’d come home hiding under long sleeves, crying.
We got creams from the GP, but I focused on school talks and comebacks like “It’s psoriasis, not catching.” The school did help a bit, they can’t keep an eye on everyone. Over the summer his patches faded, but I dread the new term. So unfair!
