Be part of the solution and make a difference
I’m 38 from Manchester, and psoriatic arthritis started five years ago after mild psoriasis on my elbows. Now my fingers swell like sausages, knees ache, and fatigue hits hard. My office manager job means hours typing and using a mouse, which turns into sharp pain by lunchtime.
I’ve adapted with voice software, an ergonomic keyboard, and a standing desk after talking to my boss. Colleagues understand now and help on bad days. Medication, yoga, and an anti-inflammatory diet keep flares down, but it’s a daily effort.
To anyone working desk jobs with PsA, push for changes early. It’s possible to keep going.
