I'm now 44 and it looks like it has developed in to psoriatic arthritis

I've never really discussed my psoriasis before as its always been a taboo subject, I've just lived with it. It is hereditary from my Mother’s side, so I guess seeing it on her has made me more comfortable over the years. I got my first patch of psoriasis when I was 12 and its come and gone ever since. I'm now 44 and it looks like it has developed in to psoriatic arthritis but waiting on blood tests to confirm.

I'm using this site to reach out to others if I'm honest, I'm in so much pain with my legs that I feel such a failure. I don’t want this to affect my life and I just want to find some support to help me and others through the bad times as it can be difficult for others to understand. I obviously have my Mother who is 77, but she leads a very different life to me. I wish stress and worry wasn’t part of my life, but look what we are living through.

I would love to hear back from anyone feeling the same.
