Unless you suffer with psoriasis, you don’t know the half-of-it

I have suffered with psoriasis since I was 7 years of age, growing up through school especially High School it was tough, but didn’t have so much on me as I do now, I’m 31 years of age now and 70% of my body is covered.

I constantly itch the smallest of spots itch me the worst. I’m currently on Enstilar® [calcipotriene and betamethasone dipropionate] and Doublebase® ointment [leave-on emollient] for moisturising, I find daily tasks hard.

I have navel infections recurring all the time it does drag you down, gets you depressed and constantly tired unless you suffer with psoriasis you don’t know the half-of-it. It’s not just a visible skin disorder its mentally and physically draining. I have psoriatic arthritis in my left knee which is painful at times, can’t take ibuprofen due to it flares the psoriasis up, its just a viscous circle.
