The early days

The first issue of Skin 'n' Bones Connection was produced in October 1993 with initially only 150 copies printed and circulated to a small number of support group members, circulation is now significantly larger.

Two editions are produced every year and it is circulated to patients, healthcare professionals and resource libraries. Extracts appear on this website.

Submiting articles

The Skin ‘n’ Bones Connection does accept articles, letters and press/news releases.

Articles should be sent either by post or e-mail to the Managing Editor for review. The Editorial Team cannot guarantee insertion and reserve the right to refuse inclusion without explanation of any unsolicited material.

Material that is accepted may be edited and full accreditation to contributors will be clearly displayed, unless otherwise agreed. Letters to the Editor can be signed off anonymously if preferred.

Advertisements are not currently accepted. The contents of the journal are aimed at providing information that may be of interest to people with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis or those who have a specialist interest, whether in a personal or professional capacity.

Some articles which will be included are of general interest and may or may not relate directly to either psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. This material may include aspects related to health, services or products that are available.

We believe that at the time of printing all information is correct and cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies that may occur, nor do we endorse any products that may appear in the journal. Items and suppliers of such goods is based on recommendation from readers, but are not necessarily endorsed by the Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Alliance. Inclusion is for information and educational purposes only.
