Helping you support your patients

We understand that patients may need time to take in the information discussed during an appointment. Having somewhere to return to afterwards can help them revisit your advice and better understand their condition.

PAPAA provides free information about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis to complement the advice and care you provide. Our resources help patients understand their condition, explore treatment options and learn about self-management, with information they can read at their own pace and share with family members or carers.

Our patient information is moving online

We are moving to digital-only patient information and gradually running down our remaining stocks of printed publications. Our information will continue to be available free of charge through our website.

You can use our online resources to:

  • Signpost patients to information relevant to their needs.
  • Share links through your usual patient communication channels.
  • Look through information together during a consultation.
  • Encourage patients to revisit information after their appointment.

To help you signpost patients, we can supply a QR code card to hand out during appointments. Our Get the facts QR code card is available free of charge and gives patients a simple route to our online information. Patients can scan the code to access our easy-to-read, downloadable resources about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Remaining printed information

During this transition, some printed publications may still be available while stocks last. Availability will vary, and we can no longer guarantee bulk orders.

Helping patients access information

We recognise that online information will not suit everyone. Please consider each patient’s access and communication needs when signposting them to our resources.

Access needs

We will continue to support those who have access needs for information, as part of our 'digital-only, but not always policy'. This will include individual requests and print versions where practicable.

If you need help finding suitable PAPAA information, please contact us.

Thank you for continuing to use PAPAA’s resources to support your patients.
